Two-handled, burial pithos [Π 2444]
Two-handled, burial pithos; inside this vessel had been buried an individual (pot burial). Globular-piriform body tapering to a flat disc base, flat rim and a pair of high-swung, horizontal double-arched handles with round cross-section. On rim painted bands enclose a zigzag line. On shoulder panel with crooked lines on one side and panel with spirals-and-palmettes chain on the other; under the level of the handles band with concentric circles; on lower body painted bands. It belongs to the Orientalizing style.
