Clay amphoroid lidded vase [Π 155 and Π 156 ]
The vase was suspended by strings, which were also used to fasten the lid to the body of the vase. The body is biconical (Π 155) with two diametrical opposed, triangular , horizontal pierced lugs about half way up the body . The bell shaped lid has two perforated, low triangular lugs, ) (Π 156) - used for fastening the vase with strings-. The vase has a glossy surface and is decorated with Polished linear motifs. It is handmade and belongs to the sub Neolithic period (3650-3500 b.C).
