Hemispherical bowl [P 1959]
This type of wide hemispherical bowl with horizontal wishbone handle, is a shape of "Late Cypriot II” and seems to be imported from Cyprus.
Vertical brushstrokes decorate the rim and a row of cross-hatched lozenges between two pairs of horizontal bands occupies the upper body. The interior is left undecorated.
Opposite the handle there are 3 vertical painted lines. The vessel belongs to the Late minoan IIIA period (1400-1300 b.C.).
